GOVERNOR SINDH CONFERS CIVIL AWARDS UPON 12 INDIVIDUALS FROM VARIOUS FIELDS, INCLUDING 7 SITARA-E-IMTIAZ, 1 PRESIDENTIAL PRIDE OF PERFORMANCE, AND 4 TAMGHA-E-IMTIAZ RECIPIENTS

Karachi (March 23) – Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori conferred civil awards upon 12 distinguished individuals from various fields at a ceremony held at Governor House. The event was conducted by Sindh Chief Secretary Syed Asif Haider Shah. The ceremony was attended by consuls general from Italy, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Oman, Malaysia, russia, Qatar, UAE, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Iran, along with provincial secretaries and prominent figures from different sectors.

Governor Sindh awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz to Dr. Suleman Shahabuddin, President of Aga Khan University; Dr. Samreen Hussain, Vice Chancellor of Dawood University of Engineering and Technology; Syed Imran Ali Shah, Chief Financial Officer of Meezan Bank; Muneeza Shamsi, Nazimuddin Feroz, Zahid Ahmed Gharab, and (late) Haneen Hussain Lakhani.

The Presidential Pride of Performance Award was presented to Ambreen Haseeb Amber.

Meanwhile, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz was awarded to Maqsood Ahmed, Joseph Coutts, Rear Admiral (Retd.) Tanveer Ahmed, and (late) Waris Panjwani.

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori acknowledged the contributions of the award recipients in their respective fields and emphasized that their achievements serve as an inspiration for the nation.
